It's hard to switch from traditional drawing on paper to sketching on a blank tablet with an electronic pen and having it appear on the computer screen.

It can be frustrating.

But I'm gradually getting the hang of it.
This is just a character design I was sketching freehand with Corel Painter today. .

Whenever I start drawing, I just get lost in the strokes and everything around me disappears. it's the ultimate escape.

Holy Cajones! Whenever I see your work I marvel about how talented you are, that you can create something so beautiful and sad(can't help thinking theres a bit of you in there, which makes me sad.) basically blindly is truly amazing.
I can barely draw a circle on one of those pads!!

That's an amazing drawing! You are so lucky, I'd love to able to draw, unfortunately, as my 3rd year art teacher wrote in my report "She would be advised not to take GCSE art as she has no artistic talent whatsoever". Quite. You however have bucketloads of artistic talent, lucky girl!!

Hi Clarity - hope things in SF settle down for you. I'm sorry to sound like a broken record, but is there any chance of getting the portrait of the dog? Please?

I'd love an original piece of artwork from you someday. Any chance I can get in touch with you about that? I'm in the SF area.
