One of my favorite daily rituals is reading together with Eric. We've been doing that since college. I would read to him while he painted and then we would switch over. I would climb behind the easel and he would take the book.
We still do that now. When he comes home from work, he'll grab a cup of coffee and sit in bed. I'll read him a few chapters of the latest book.
Currently we're reading "The Stranger" by Albert Camus (a gift from a very good friend, Han) and "The Man who mistook his wife for a hat" by Oliver Sacks.

“I think of life as a good book. The further you get into it, the more it begins to make sense.”
